This piece means so much to me, not just because of Donna Summer's iconic status, but because it takes me straight back to my disco-filled childhood.

When I was in 7th grade, my best friend’s parents owned a disco. We’d babysit her younger brother and stay the night in the motel behind the club, just waiting for the bar to close. When it finally did, it was our time to shine. The DJ and staff would turn on the lights, the dry ice, and the music—and we’d dance the night away to Donna Summer’s unforgettable hits like “Hot Stuff” and “Last Dance”. 🎶💃

Her music was more than just a soundtrack—it was the heartbeat of an era.

And that’s exactly what I set out to capture in this portrait:

FULFILLMENT

After you place your order, your print goes into production.

Since all artwork is handmade it takes approximately 2+ weeks for your order to be completed before it is shipped.

RETURNS & DAMAGES

All of our orders are custom printed and all prints and original artworks are final sale. However, we will honour a 14 day period following the delivery of the print for any issues within the control of MICHELLE VELLA ART, this includes any product defects or damages while in transit, we will replace the art work. For factors that we don’t control, we will strive to find a solution. For any issues with your order, contact us within 30 days of delivery.
