Meet Michelle Vella, a contemporary POP artist known for her unique wide big eyes. Creating pieces since 2015, the NY fashion scene was quick to embrace Michelle’s style from the start and we did too!

So, we decided to bring her to Yorkdale for International Women’s Day to exclusively paint live portraits of the woman that inspires you most on March 8, 2018 from 12:00pm – 9:00pm. In addition to this, you can shop some of her original pieces (which are gorgeous by the way), as well as prints of her popular “Wide Big Eyes”.

15% of all sales will be donated to a local women’s charity.

FUN FACT: Fashion designer and icon Diane von Furstenberg discovered Michelle on Instagram wanting her BIG EYE portrait which is now part of Diane’s art collection at the DVF Fashion House in NYC. Ever since, Vella’s work is very much in demand, garnering commissions and collaborations with corporate and private collectors from around the world. She has been featured on CNN Style, MARILYN DENIS, ELLE CANADA, and W magazine to name a few.
